DogoTrain Terms of Service

DogoTrain is operated by:

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

You may use core dog-profile and training features without creating an account, depending on how the App is configured on your platform. If you create an optional account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your password confidential and not share your account
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe present a security or abuse risk.

The App provides tools and educational content related to dog training and pet care, which may include:

• Dog profiles and related preferences stored on your device
• Training programs, lessons, tricks, and articles
• Care, potty, and walk logging
• Local reminders and in-App preferences
• Optional user account profile and avatar features

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.

DogoTrain provides general educational information and tools for dog training and pet care. The App is not a substitute for professional veterinary care, animal behavior consultation, or other professional advice.

Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian or certified animal professional for questions about your dog’s health, behavior, safety, or wellbeing. Do not disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or see in the App.

You are solely responsible for how you apply any training methods, schedules, or recommendations with your dog, and for ensuring that training is safe and appropriate for your dog’s age, health, and temperament.

You retain ownership of the information and media you enter into the App, including dog profiles, photos, care logs, training notes, and reminders ("Your Content").

Dog profiles, training progress, care logs, reminders, and related training data remain stored locally on your device or browser unless a future version of the App offers optional sync and you choose to use it. You are responsible for backing up Your Content and for any loss that results from uninstalling the App, clearing browser data, losing your device, or similar events.

If you upload an account avatar or provide account profile information, that account data is stored on our servers in connection with your account until you remove it or delete your account.

You represent that you have the rights needed to provide Your Content and that Your Content does not violate law or these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation, security, or integrity
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse App content except as allowed by applicable law
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when creating an account or contacting us
• Use the App in a way that endangers people or animals

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including suspending access or deleting an account.

The App, including its design, branding, software, text, graphics, training curricula, articles, and other materials (excluding Your Content), is owned by Alright Tech or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App or its content except as expressly permitted by us or by applicable law.

The App may include links to third-party websites, services, or embedded content, including training tutorial videos hosted by third-party platforms such as YouTube. Those third parties are not controlled by us and have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the DogoTrain Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also acknowledge that policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal data practices, the Privacy Policy controls for those topics.

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that training outcomes will meet your expectations. Training results vary by dog and handler.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALRIGHT TECH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alright Tech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the App, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time. If you have an account, you may delete it through the in-App delete-account flow where available, or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, or delete an account, if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms with the App or related materials, updating the Effective Date above, or through other appropriate means.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Alright Tech’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer.
